Imane Khelif, A$AP Rocky, Kendall Jenner! The best of Milan Fashion Week's front row

When Milan Fashion Week kicked off this Tuesday, it already had a lot to compete with. London Fashion Week was a particularly starry affair this year, with the likes of Harry Styles and Emma Corrin lining the front row for S.S.Daley, and Declan Rice switching football boots for ribbon-clad suits at Labrum, where he walked his first runway.

Milan, however, kept up the excitement. Fendi kicked things off on Tuesday with an unsurprisingly star-studded front row, including Jade Thirlwall, Raye, Zita d'Hauteville, Normani and Shailene Woodley. Then, at Marni, there was Maya Jama, Jack Harlow and rapper Future, all looking very cool and collected as Francesco Risso presented what some are calling his best collection in years.

We’ve also had representatives from some of the world’s greatest celebrities dynasties lining the FROW. We’re talking Beckham, Gallagher, Skarsgård.

On Wednesday, David Beckham was front and centre at BOSS, where he is soon set to assist in designing multiple collections as part of a multi-year collaboration with the brand.

He wasn’t the only big name at the BOSS show, though, with Anna Wintour by his side and a roster of It Girls (Amelia Gray, Paloma Elsesser, Alex Consani) and athletes (Alica Schmidt, Miles Chamley-Watson) walking the runway.

Meanwhile, Gene Gallagher, son of Liam, was on the front row at Antonio Marras, and Bill Skarsgård was busy looking suave on the bright crimson H&M event red carpet.

Later that day, Fausto Puglisi brought out the big guns at Roberto Cavalli, where he reunited seven of the late designer’s muses for the first runway show since his passing. Karen Elson, Natasha Poly, Isabeli Fontana, Joan Smalls, Eva Herzigova and Alek Wek all took to the runway, alongside Cavalli’s sister, Eva Cavalli.

Fittingly, as the supermodels reunited, another super, Naomi Campbell, looked on from the front row.

Thursday brought Max Mara in the morning, with Uglies and The Kissing Booth actress Joey King in attendance with her husband Steven Piet.

At Prada, where design duo Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons caused a stir with buggish hats and porthole, cut out skirts, it was Carey Mulligan who stole the spotlight, sitting alongside fellow actor Maya Hawke. Also there was US poet Amanda Gorman and Serbian performance artist Marina Abramović.

It was followed by another Milanese powerhouse, Gucci, who attracted an all-star cast for every generation. Daisy Edgar-Jones and Dakota Fanning sat (sunglasses on) nearby Debbie Harry, while Bridgerton and Derry Girls’ Nicola Coughlan sported a suede cape for the occasion.

A$AP Rocky at Bottega Veneta (Bottega Veneta)

At Versace, Baby Reindeer’s Nava Mau made an appearance before the whole affair was tied up but with Bottega Veneta. The internet was set ablaze by the seats — leather bean bags with animals specifically chosen for each guest, so the PRs said. Results: Julianne Moore on an otter, joining Olympian Imane Khelif, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, a newly-blonde Kendall Jenner, particularly smiley Jacob Elordi and — last but not least — the TikToker who began the very demure, very mindful trend, Jools Lebron. Indeed, it was a cutesy close to Milan Fashion Week.
