Fans of David and Victoria Beckham have raised eyebrows after the famous couple remained noticeably silent as their eldest son celebrated his third wedding anniversary.
Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz marked three years since tying the knot on Thursday with gushing posts on Instagram—but, notably, none of Brooklyn's immediate family liked, shared, or commented on the posts, according to Mail Online.
The silence comes despite Victoria Beckham’s well-known habit of sharing warm family moments on social media, frequently posting about her four children.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn is reportedly experiencing tension with his brother Romeo over Romeo's new relationship.
In his Instagram post, Brooklyn wrote: "Happy 3 year anniversary baby x I love you with all my heart x I’m so lucky I get to spend everyday with you and wake up to your beautiful face everyday you are my world x I love you so much Nicola xxxxxxx."
Nicola similarly shared affectionate pictures from their wedding day on social media, yet again the rest of the Beckham family remained quiet.
Speculation intensified among fans after Brooklyn posted an image of a bouquet of flowers with the message: "Dear Ms Peltz and Brooklyn, Wishing you a very happy anniversary! Love, Mom, Dad and all the kids."
Brooklyn initially captioned the post simply as "thank you," without clarifying which set of parents had sent the bouquet. He later deleted the image and reposted it, this time explicitly stating the flowers came from Nicola's parents, Nelson and Claudia.
His new caption read: "Thank you so much for these amazing flowers from my in-laws [red love heart emoji] x. Love you guys."
The Beckhams' silence follows Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from a recent family gathering held in anticipation of David Beckham's upcoming 50th birthday.
The Beckham’s other sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, attended the event at Miami's exclusive Cipriani Downtown restaurant alongside their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, while Brooklyn and Nicola remained in Los Angeles.
Sources close to Brooklyn and Nicola insist their absence was expected, attributing it to Brooklyn’s work commitments as he aims to build his career as a chef.
