Bebe Rexha shares snaps of gruesome injury after being hit in the face with a phone

Bebe Rexha shared a few snaps of her gruesome injury after she got hit in the face with a phone while performing on stage.

The singer, 33, was performing in New York City on Sunday night when a man threw a phone at the singer, striking her in the face.

The Meant To Be hitmaker was making her way to the front of the stage when the incident happened and she fell to her knees in pain, with her head down.

Putting on a brave face, Bebe has taken to Instagram to reassure fans that she is doing well after the shocking incident.

In one photo, she gave the camera a thumbs-up as she smiled. She told her follows "Im good" in the caption.

A purple bruise formed around her eye and her eyebrow was covered in small strips of gauze tape.

The second photo was a close-up snap of the injury after it first occurred and a cut could be seen right underneath her brow.

Her fans took to the comment section to share their support and wish her a speedy recovery.

One user said: "We love you. People don’t know how to f**king act."

"Sending love your way. Feel better soon!," TikTok star and singer Bella Poarch commented.

One user called out fans' conducts and posted: "Ya’ll fans need to learn to have some decorum. none of these celebrities or artists owe us ANYTHING."

A spokesperson for the New York City Police Department recently confirmed to The Mirror that Nicolas Malvagna, 27, had been arrested and charged with assault.

"On Sunday, June 18, 2023 at approximately 2200 hours, police were notified of an assault that occurred at the concert space of Pier 17 located at 89 South Street, within the confines of the 1st Precinct.

"A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone at a 33-year-old female performer on stage, striking her about the face.

"The individual was taken into custody on scene and removed to the 1st Precinct for arrest processing. The aided female was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition," they said in a statement.

The spokesperson added: "Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individual has been arrested and charged on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 2254 hours within the confines of the 1 Precinct."
