Bebe Rexha Alleges Hate Crime Incident At Lufthansa Airport.

Bebe Rexha tearfully claims she was 'threatened' by airport worker for 'speaking Albanian’

Bebe Rexha recently took to social media to share a distressing incident that occurred at Munich International Airport in Germany. The 34-year-old singer alleged that a Lufthansa airport worker threatened her in what she described as a 'hate crime' for speaking Albanian.

Rexha posted a series of emotional videos on Instagram, where she claimed that she was banned from boarding her flight back to the US after speaking Albanian to a staff member she believed was from Albania. In one of the videos, she tearfully stated that the supervisor for the flight was threatening her and not allowing her to board.

She further expressed her belief that the incident was a hate crime due to her Albanian heritage and criticized the lack of intervention from other airport staff members. Lufthansa, in response to the incident, stated that they had reached out to Rexha and were investigating the situation.

The airline emphasized their commitment to diversity and equal opportunity, stating that discriminatory behavior is not tolerated within their company. Rexha later confirmed that she had been contacted by Lufthansa but urged them to conduct a full investigation to identify the individual responsible for the alleged abuse of power.

She emphasized the need for more than just an apology, calling for a thorough examination of the incident. The situation has sparked conversations about discrimination and the importance of addressing such issues within the airline industry.
