Beauty lovers are flocking to Boots to get their hands on a bottle of an iconic designer perfume, which has been slashed from £60 to £21.60 in a flash online sale. The perfume has cult status amongst fragrance fans, who have called it 'summer in a bottle', and have praised how long-lasting it is with just a few spritzes.

100ml bottles of Vera Wang Princess for Women Eau de Toilette had originally cost £60 each. But for a limited time online, Boots has reduced them to £21.60. That's an impressive saving of £38.40.

The scent sparkles with the captivating, sweet, tart aroma of delicate lady apples and dreamy water lily kissed lightly by golden apricot and mandarin meringue. It also features scents of ripe pink guava, Tahitian tiare flower, wild tuberose and dark chocolate. In the base you'll smell tempting vanilla chiffon and pink frosting, which are combined with precious amber.

The £22 perfume has racked up thousands of glowing reviews on the Boots website - which is hardly unsurprising given its cult status. It's certainly no competition for £200 bottles of long-lasting Eau de Parfum, but if you're looking for a sweet scent that will linger all day, it's the perfect shout.
