Beauty buffs are showering five-star reviews on a £22.50 anti-cellulite cream that has been hailed 'magic' by those who have used it. The body cream claims to minimise cellulite and contour the leg and bum area - giving more confidence to those wanting to wear swimwear, shorts and Summer dresses.
Legology's Ait-Lite Contouring Cream For Legs normally costs £45 for a tube. However, it has been reduced to a more purse-friendly price of £22.50 in Fenwick's huge Summer sale - making it half price.
The £22 deep drainage, contouring leg cream was created by a French chemist with the aim of improving the appearance of leg contours and minimising cellulite. The Air-Lite cream promises to target areas of bumpiness and heaviness while delivering a feeling of improved lightness.
The cream is whipped like aerated meringue, that has been designed to target puffiness, and as a result, refines the look of leg contours. It is powered by the brand's unique Lymphology Complex, which contains two potent French complexes to support massage in helping to bring instant contour and comfort to legs.
In addition, the cream’s deep drainage properties also help reduce the appearance of cellulite by making skin look smoother and cleaner. The £22 anti-cellulite leg contouring cream was clinically tested on 22 women over a period of two weeks.
At the end of the trial, 95% of participants agreed that Air-Lite made the skin feel hydrated, while 91% agreed that Air-Lite helped to reduce the visibility of the imperfections caused by cellulite.
The same percentage of participants agreed that Air-Lite made their legs feel less puffy and said that their skin felt tighter, firmer and more toned. The cream has built up a cult following, and many of those who have tried it have shared before and after pictures on the brands website.
After trying the cream, one woman awarded it five-stars, saying: "This cream is absolutely amazing. I've used many different brands over the year as a Skincare blogger and this has to be my favourite by far. I have put on a lot of weight recently since having long covid as I cannot get around or exercise like I used to.
"This has given me swollen ankles and fluid retention in my legs. Since using this cream my legs have gone down tremendously. I use it every morning after my shower and again at night after a bath or shower and my legs look and feel so much better."
A second wrote: "I’ve only been using this a week but already noticed a difference! It glides on so easily leaving my legs soft & silky. At the top where I have cellulite, there is an improvement.. a beautiful product that smells amazing. Would definitely recommend & so luxurious after a bath!"
A third said: "I suffer with claudication in my right leg because of a botched operation I had in my 20's. It's basically caused by poor blood circulation and I get a lot of cramp like pain in my calf whilst walking or standing so I jumped at the chance to get this cream.
"As the name suggests it's a very light cream, a lot thinner than a balm or butter. It has an amazing citrusy scent to it, it's fresh and uplifting. With the mix of lemon, mandarin, rose and bergamot gives you an idea of how delicious it smells. You use it in conjunction with massage and I watched their video about how to apply it properly to get the maximum benefits.
"Massaging the cream gets it right where it needs to be and the texture helps it disperse well. This is definitely the leg cream I've been looking for. Firstly my legs are noticeably smoother than they've been in a long time and it has evened out some red blotches. It's cooling and insanely soothing, not just on the outside but on the inside too and it has given life back to my legs."
"I have been using air-lite for the last two weeks only and I am loving it. The fragrance is divine and the texture is beautiful. I sit hours on end at my desk with work, often giving a stiff, restless feel to my legs and I suffer from dry skin condition on my legs especially as well. Air-lite changed all that already. It is so refreshing. I massage this into my legs and lift them up against a wall before I go to bed - for 10-15 min - and it works wonders. Skin is silky and well moistured now too. Living the dream," said somebody else.
"I walk a lot and some days my legs are tired and my ankles are swollen. But when I massage Air Lite (in an upward motion) to the legs the difference is immediate, It is wonderfully uplifting on tired legs. Another tip is to apply the cream and put your legs up the wall for ten minutes. Magic," wrote another fan of the £22 anti-cellulite cream.
Somebody else penned: "I have used this cream on and off for a while, but wasn’t quite sure if it actually worked for me …. until I went on holiday and ran out a few days in. Then I really noticed how much more swollen and heavy and uncomfortable my legs were without it. It’s now part of my daily routine."
"Good stuff! Makes my legs smoother, moisturised and firmer," read another five star review. "My first thought was that this product wasn't gonna do anything, however I was completely wrong. I have a bunch of cellulite and I noticed that it almost looked completely gone once I applied it and I couldn't believe it. It also has a lovely cooling smell too," said yet another beauty buff.
