A popular pub in Galway has shared a heartfelt message to the local couple who celebrated their wedding day by going back to the place they had their first date.
Staff at the pub shared the moment on social media, congratulating the newlyweds.
The Front Door, on Galway City's Cross Street, shared the couple's romantic story on their social media pages.

It explained how Gerry and Lisa had their first date in the pub seven years ago. They returned on their wedding day for a drink or two and to capture some photos in a quiet corner.
A video shared by the pub shows the husband and wife taking pictures with their guest. It shows the beautiful bride walk through the whole pub in her gown, with groom and bridesmaids in tow.
The Front Door wrote on Facebook: “Congratulations to Gerry and Lisa Marie Ryan, Who came to the Front Door on their first date almost 7yrs ago! Have an amazing day!”
Under the post, many also shared their congratulations to the couple.
One person said: “Congratulations to you both, absolutely beautiful."
Another added: “Fabulous. Congrats to you both.”
A third one wrote: “Congratulations, Ger. Best of luck in the future."
