A stunning Merseyside sunflower maze has returned for 2022, offering guests the chance to walk amongst a field of flowers whilst taking plenty of Instagram-worthy pictures.
The Sunflower Maze in Prescot is now open for visitors and will remain open until the plants stop flowering - so guests are advised to be quick if they want to visit. The field spans an impressive 17 acres, with half a million sunflowers to take in as you walk through.
The field features a path, taking visitors through the field and wildflower meadow. Guests can also take a look at some of the farm's tractors, which will be on display near the field.

Situated on Water Lane in Tarbock, the maze takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and was created by famer, Olly Harrison. The field proved to be popular with visitors last year, with many posting snaps of the six-foot high flowers.
The fields are open from 12am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. The field is free to enter but donations are welcomed, with the money helping those affected by the Ukraine crisis. Donations can be made via the Sunflower Maze website or cash donations can be received at the field.
Booking is currently not required, although this might change if there is extremely high demand. Dogs are welcome on leads and visitors are advised to bring appropriate footwear.
There will also be an ice cream van along with a coffee stand serving cakes. There is also a picnic area on site.
