Incredible pictures show an abandoned house that looks exactly like the spooky mansion from the 1960s ‘Addams Family’ TV show.
The beautiful Canadian farmhouse was built 137 years ago but today it stands empty.
An urban explorer has since investigated the house, taking beautiful shots of the now-empty inside and even getting some history of the building.
These photos were captured by urban exploration photographer and filmmaker Dave of Freaktography.com in Ontario, Canada.
"This house goes to show that no matter how much you explore, how long you have been exploring and how frequently you explore, that there is always more out there to be discovered," said Dave.
"While the home is totally empty inside, the exterior makes up for it.
"This now abandoned Estate and farm dates back to the late 19th century, the son of the original owner describes it as once being a vibrant and productive farm.
"This is officially my new favourite abandoned house."
"Its remote location has spared the home from vandalism and graffiti; however, most of the original light fixtures, door knobs and hardware have been removed.
"A few weeks back I met up with a gentleman local to this house and he agreed to meet me there and give me some history and background on the house. He knows a man whose family lived here and operated a farm out of here for many years."
The original property was owned by a man named Philips, buying the land and building the house in 1885. He built both the house and the barn in one year.
The property was sold in 1980 to a man named JC who then returned to Ireland to marry his wife Isabella. The couple returned to raise a family of three boys and four girls.
The property went on to be owned by JC's son, RJ in 1912, raising two boys and two girls until his death in 1922. After the death of RJ's wife in 1930, the property was sold.
A fire destroyed the original barn in 1933, and a replacement was built a year later.
The property was once again purchased in 1949 by another family who had one of the original towers of the house torn down as it began to lean.
The property has been left exposed to the elements intending to be destroyed and the site of new homes, however, it has been left untouched until now.
The house looks like the gothic mansion made famous in the 1960s classic TV show ‘The Addams Family’.
The beloved franchise is currently getting a reboot with the spinoff show, focusing on daughter Wednesday Addams, airing on Netflix soon.
It is just a shame the show’s producers didn’t know about this old house, it would have made the perfect setting for their new show.
