An astute coin collector is selling a Peter Rabbit 50p for £25,000 after noticing a tiny printing error.
In 2017, the Royal Mint produced nearly 20 million Peter Rabbit 50ps to celebrate the beloved children's author Beatrix Potter.
While the coins are not typically regarded as rare due to their high circulation, one eagle-eyed collector discovered something unusual about theirs.
The listing suggests there is a little lump of metal stuck to the foot of the rabbit on the coin which does not appear on any of the other Peter Rabbit 50ps.
The collector, knowing coins with imperfections sell for substantially more than face value, has listed the item on eBay for a staggering £25,086.72.
They are also asking for an additional £8.95 in postage and returns are not accepted.
