Beat the Street craze set to return to Lanarkshire town

The interactive Beat the Street craze is set to return to East Kilbride next month.

The popular game will hit the street from September 14, for six weeks, until October 26.

Beat the Street turns towns into giant games where participants can earn points, win prizes and discover more about their area by walking, running and cycling.

It has already been to East Kilbride before and proved popular with townsfolk of all ages.

Organisers say: "Beat the Street is a free, fun initiative that will see East Kilbride transformed into a giant game!

"See how far you can walk, cycle, and wheel in just six weeks. There are great challenges to enjoy and prizes up for grabs.

"Played outdoors, it's the perfect way to get the whole family moving."

Why not pick-up a Beat the Street card and swipe Beat Boxes across your community.

Or go to the website or the Facebook page for more information.
