Beat The Chasers host Bradley Walsh was left pleasantly surprised, when a contestant on the ITV series dropped a bombshell.
Contestant Lynn Barton revealed she was no stranger to the show in a way, sharing a secret link to the main show, The Chase.
Bradley was visibly shocked, when Lynn informed him that she once featured as a cash builder question on the ITV quiz show many years ago.
He didn't quite believe her, until she revealed what that question was and he soon realised she meant it.
As the show kicked off, Lynn was the first contestant during Tuesday's episode and Bradley asked what she did career wise.
Lynn told him: "I'm retired now but I was an air pilot. I retired, and in my last five years I was a captain on a jumbo, yes,"
She then revealed she had a gin cocktail named after her, but this wasn't her only claim to fame.
Lynn told Bradley: "Another high point was I did feature as a question on The Chase, years ago."
A shocked Bradley told her: "No you didn't," to which she replied: "I did!
"It was a cash builder where you asked a contestant what Lynn Barton was the first person to do in British Airways in 1987, and of course the answer was become a female pilot."
The show host looked gobsmacked, as the Chasers applauded Lynn with Bradley eventually replying: "Love that."
Lynn confessed: "My mum, she loved it," with Bradley adding: "I bet!"
Sadly Lynn wasn't successful and she lost her £25,000 prize money, with nine seconds remaining on the Chasers' clock.
As Bradley said his goodbyes, he shared how thrilled he was to have met someone who had been a question on The Chase.
He told her: "I loved seeing you in person, having been in a question on the show, and to finally have met you. Thank you so much."
She replied: "It's been a pleasure to meet you as well Bradley," as Jenny Ryan called her "an icon".
Viewers were as equally as stunned as Bradley by her link to The Chase, taking to Twitter over her confession.
One fan commented: "Lynn had a question about her on #TheChase? She should be on the celebrity edition then."
Another said: "Lynn has been a question on #TheChase and is now on #BeatTheChasers . Quiz pedigree!"
A third added: "Well this is pretty awesome! Fancy going on #BeatTheChasers and being the subject of a question on The Chase."
This was echoed by a fourth fan who commented: "That’s so cool isn’t it!" as another wrote: "That’s so cool."
Beat The Chasers airs all at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
