Bears veterans report for training camp today

The Chicago Bears are kicking off training camp this week, which will include 14 practices (nine open to the public) at Halas Hall, as well as two joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts at their facility.

After rookies and quarterbacks reported to the facility last Saturday, veterans are reporting to the Lake Forest facility on Tuesday.

Chicago will practice for the first time on Wednesday, which is closed to the public. The Bears’ first open practice will be on Thursday, where a free ticket is required for entry (See the full schedule here).

Following a 3-14 season that culminated in a 10-game losing streak, general manager Ryan Poles overhauled the roster this offseason. That included some big-name acquisitions, including wide receiver DJ Moore, linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards, guard Nate Davis, defensive linemen Andrew Billings and DeMarcus Walker and tight end Robert Tonyan.

Despite winning just three games last season, there’s plenty of optimism surrounding the team heading into 2023, especially inside the locker room. As the Bears look to return to prominence in a wide-open NFC North, the work begins in training camp.
