Bears Twitter is worried about Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears’ first series against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers provided a glimpse of what we expected from quarterback Justin Fields and the offense this season.

Fields connected with Moore on two completions for 64 yards, and the 75-yard drive was capped by a one-yard touchdown run from Fields.

But then things went downhill.

The same issues that plagued Fields in last week’s season opener — and in his first two NFL seasons — reared their ugly heads. Fields continues to hold onto the ball too long, is taking unnecessary sacks and his internal clock just looks broken.

Is there still time to Fields to develop? Of course. But Bears fans are starting to worry about these recurring issues with Fields and some are starting to believe he might not be the long-term answer at quarterback.
