One of the bigger stories in the NFL this season has been the recent meteoric rise of Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. The second-year signal-caller has blossomed over the last month, setting records while almost seemingly giving the Bears an elite offense by himself.
But Fields hasn’t done it all by himself. One of the bigger members of Fields’ supporting cast — his safety valve tight end Cole Kmet — has also started to thrive. The big third-year tight end has five touchdowns in roughly the same time as Fields began to ascend, becoming one of the better middle-of-the-field weapons in the league lately.
Against the Falcons on Sunday, Kmet might have shown off his best individual display of skill yet when he reached out for a ridiculous one-hand catch — somehow surviving a massive shot to the ribs from Atlanta’s A.J. Terrell.
Oh, yeah. It’ll probably be the best catch you’ll see all day:

Seriously … HOW? That pass has no business being caught, let alone finished through to the ground, given the hit. But it looks like Kmet might be built a little bit differently as a rising big-time tight end.
NFL fans were astounded to see Kmet finish his incredible one-hand grab while being hit
Cole Kmet MORE OF THAT PLEASE!!
