Bears QB Justin Fields lands in top 10 of NFL jersey sales for June

It’s no secret that Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is a beloved figure in the NFL world. The electric quarterback is a threat to score on any play; among his many accomplishments last season, Justin Fields broke Michael Vick’s single-game rushing record for a QB when he ran for 173 yards in a week nine game against the Miami Dolphins.

Field’s incredible speed and playmaking ability made casual NFL fans tune in to a Chicago Bears team that would otherwise be deemed unwatchable.

Though he may not be the prolific passer that some critics want him to be, he is undoubtedly one of the NFL’s most popular rising stars – the seventh-most popular player, if the NFL’s top ten June jersey sales is any indicator.

According to The 33rd Team NFL reporter Ari Meirov, Fields’ jersey was the seventh-most bought jersey in the NFL for the month of June, hoisting the Bears QB into the same realm of other NFL mainstays like Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.

Interestingly, Justin Fields got the slight edge over Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, who weighed in at number eight. While Brady’s surprisingly low position may be attributed to his recent (second) retirement, it is imperative to acknowledge Fields’ ranking over Brady as the Bears’ biggest victory over the former Tampa Bay QB since the triumphant week five win over the Buccaneers in the 2020 season.

Overall, Fields had more jersey sales in June than Brady, 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick Bryce Young of the Panthers, and McCaffrey.

Notable players ranked ahead of Fields includes New York’s Aaron Rodgers, Mahomes, and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow.
