Bears Locker Room Was Fired Up After Team’s First Win in 347 Days

After 347 days without a win, the Bears picked up a much-needed victory on Thursday night against the Commanders, and the team was fired up afterwards.

Having gone without a victory since last October, finally getting back into the win column was obviously a big relief for Chicago. The team’s locker room was buzzing after the game, as players were excitedly celebrating the long-awaited victory, having snapped their 14-game losing streak.

Bears players could be seen jumping and dancing around while soaking in streak-ending victory that had evaded them.

Justin Fields and D.J. Moore were in sync throughout the night. The star wideout was the receiver on three of Fields’s four touchdown passes, and he proved a difficult matchup for Washington’s secondary.

Chicago’s defense was sharp, too, getting after Sam Howell for five sacks, bringing his season tally to 29. It was an all-around strong performance for the Bears at a point when they most desperately needed a bounce-back win. They did just that, and celebrated fittingly in the locker room afterwards.

ESPN’s Mike Garafolo also filmed defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker imitating Kirk Cousins’s beloved “You like that?” celebration in the tunnel.

Their next test awaits in 10 days, and the Bears will look to build on the momentum from their first win of the season in a Week 6 matchup against Cousins and the Vikings at Soldier Field.
