The Chicago Bears are heading toward the top of every round of the 2024 NFL draft. That didn’t prevent them from sending a second-round pick to the Washington Commanders for defensive libeman Montez Sweat before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday.
Sweat already has 6.5 sacks in 2023. Throughout his Washington career, he had 35.5 sacks.

Given what the Bears are sending to Washington, one has to imagine they will do everything to sign Sweat to a long-term contract.
