YouTube star Beard Meats Food proved the undisputed champion of massive eating challenges after demolishing a humungous breakfast baguette. But he had to admit "it hurt a bit."
Nevertheless he succeeded where others failed at a Long Eaton cafe, conquering the gigantic trayful in just over 30 minutes - and even managed to squeeze in dessert. The UK's number one professional competitive eater, aka Adam Moran, undertook the £25 challenge at the Garden Cafe, in Meadow Lane. Five people had previously attempted it - and all five were defeated.
Beard Meats Food, who has 2.9m subscribers, has just released a video of his blow-out last month. The 20-inch baguette came stuffed with five rashers of bacon, five sausages, five eggs, five pieces of black pudding and five cheeseburgers. As if that wasn't enough it was accompanied by a pile of chips, and big bowls of baked beans and tinned tomatoes.

"It looks yummy, it's a photogenic sandwich," said the hirsute eater before getting down to the serious business of scoffing the gut-busting brekkie, which he described as "pretty colossal."
Cafe customers watched as Beard Meats Food chomped his way through, using his hands to eat the eggs and finding a double yolk along the way. Adam, a former banker from Leeds, said usually he doesn't eat for at least a day after a challenge but admitted "it might be a bit longer after this one."
"I'm not confident, this is heavy, really heavy. This baguette's the problem, it's chewy. French bread is always gruelling to eat," he said, before asking how his beard looks and refers to the challenge as "an ordeal."
Washing it down with bottles of water and Pepsi Max, he smashed the baguette but the 37-year-old confessed he doesn't want to eat the chips. He said: "I told you the sandwich would be no problem but the sandwich actually was a bit of a problem and there's still the chips to go. That was a bit of a pain going from something as flavourful as the sandwich was to a a big pile of dry, cold chips, this is where you've got to dig in."
Dunking the cold chips into the beans to make them more palatable, he admitted: "This is rough. You gave me a test today. I'm not looking forward to driving home, I might go via the local A&E."
After the string of failures the café owner extended the time limit to 45 minutes, but Beard came in with plenty of time to spare after eating every last scrap in just over 33 minutes. You might think that was the end of it - but Adam still managed to squeeze in an iced Bakewell tart for dessert before heading off.
The video has been viewed more than 1.1m times in less than 24 hours. The competitive eater reckons that being thin allows him to eat more during a contest. He was previously wolfed down the 20,000 calorie Octuple Bypass Burger at the world famous Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas, 70 chicken wings in 90 minutes, and London's biggest ever pizza.
