Beaming Kyle Lafferty reunites with Rangers pals as Beale and Morelos stop for post match embrace

Former Rangers star Kyle Lafferty caught up for a post-match reunion with Michael Beale and Alfredo Morelos after Kilmarnock's 3-2 defeat on Wednesday night.

The striker worked with the now boss during his second spell at Ibrox when Beale was a chief lieutenant under Steven Gerrard with the Englishman noting during the week Lafferty produced the finest first training session upon his return in 2018. The Northern Ireland international returned to action against Celtic at the weekend after serving a 10-game ban for making a sectarian comment. He had a late attempt after coming off the bench in the final 10 minutes at Rugby Park but was unable to secure an improbable point for the host who had Danny Armstrong sent off for a reckless elbow on Borna Barisic.

Lafferty then shared words with the 42-year-old Beale before enjoying a hug with former team-mate Morelos who bagged a brace for Rangers as they once again came from behind to secure a result as the Rangers manager remains undefeated. Lafferty will be aiming for a return to the starting XI for Saturday's Scottish Cup clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
