Michael Beale has admitted there have been some sleepless nights for him after losing to Celtic before the international break.
The Ibrox boss watched his Rangers side fall to a 1-0 defeat at home to their Glasgow rivals leaving supporters furious over the start to the season.
And Beale has revealed the message from the fans has been received "loud and clear" as he conceded there are certain areas on which he could have improved this term.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "It does come back to you, so there have been a couple of sleepless nights, naturally. You're thinking about everything, you're assessing, you've got a lot of people's hopes and dreams and aims in your hands.
"But you come back in with your management team and you go again. The biggest response I wanted to see was from the players and I've been really pleased with them. I've been pleased with the honesty that we've all shared with each other.

"The fan reaction, it wasn't a nice one to receive. I completely understand it but it certainly wasn't a nice one to receive so that has been heard loud and clear.
"Things take time. Do I feel I could have done better in certain areas? Definitely."
