A Merseyside beach could see new huts after the success of its Lancashire neighbour.
Ainsdale beach has been the subject of a feasibility study to see whether it would be possible to introduce all-new beach huts.
The study comes after the huts' success at Lytham St Annes beach, with councillor Lynne Thompson originally announcing the news on Facebook.

Cllr Thompson posted in a local Facebook community group detailing the plans for the Merseyside beach.
She wrote: "Update received [for] Ainsdale Beach Gateway
"New car park facilities are still on track for Autumn 2022. Toilets cost and type/model being looked into, with upgraded options, for mixed ability adult/child use.
"New food and drinks concessions are being explored for the 2022 season building on the success of last year.
"Sands Hotel tendering process started. Agent appointed. Options being discussed.
"Sands car park Action still required regarding poor surface. Chased up (again) with Sefton Traffic Services.
"After a brief discussion with Cabinet members for Leisure Services, I have submitted a short feasibility study on a beach hut scheme for Ainsdale. Based on the successful scheme currently used in Lytham St Annes.
"Many thanks to my colleague, Lesley Delves for all her hard work crafting all the information and research done into an excellent report."
Despite Cllr Thompson's positive update, Sefton Council was unable to confirm anything.
A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: “Sefton’s coastline is a sensitive and dynamic landscape and as such any and all proposed developments would need to go through proper and extensive due process.
“This includes ensuring protected wildlife and other features are not impacted negatively and that any proposed scheme is both practicable and sustainable.”
