Staff at local radio station BCFm have shared a tribute to their chief engineer Mike Edney, who sadly passed away at home on Sunday evening (Sunday, September 18). Mr Edney had been with the station for more than 16 years and even built BCFm's current studios at Easton Community Centre.
The station announced the death of their colleague and friend in an announcement published to the station's website yesterday. In it they said: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our chief engineer and friend Mike Edney who passed away last night at home.
"We send our sincere condolences to his wife Naomi and the entire family at this time."
