A Co Derry tanning company is celebrating 10 years of success as they launch the brand onto a global stage.
bBold Tan was established in Draperstown in 2012, and has gone on to win awards and sell over three million bottles of tan - one bottle selling every 90 seconds.
As they head into a decade of tan creating, wearing and selling, the company has made the decision to not digitally alter their photos. bBold says they are committed to "spreading an authentic message in every way".

Louise Donaghy created the bBold products single-handedly and distributed them through Pharmacy Supplies Ltd.
Speaking to Be, Louise said: "The majority of our bBold team are females, and at the beginning of 2022 we expressed our personal experiences on how cosmetics brands and beauty standards impacted us.
"We decided to be the change that we wanted to see in the industry, and that ultimately meant creating relatable campaigns that used real bodies with uplifting messages. We made the decision to not digitally alter our bBold representatives body shapes, stretch marks or any other feature that makes them wonderfully unique. This decision was well received by all our customers.
"We have been lucky enough to work with incredible personalities such as Lauren Pope, Keilidh Cashell and Roisin Doherty over the past 10 years! In 2022 we were an affiliate sponsor for Miss Northern Ireland, and the incredible Daria Gapska is now our Brand Ambassador for her reigning year.
"We love everything Daria stands for, including her caring nature and ability to make everyone feel extremely important. She is an incredible representative for our brand. Another recent highlight has been our TikTok success, it has catapulted our online success, and this is only the beginning."
bBold’s Marketing Manager Lauren Hyndman added: "We strongly believe in creating personable, trusted relationships with our customers, ensuring they feel like a part of the brand across all of our social media channels. From sneak-peeks at new products, to polls on their favourite ingredients, we take them along every step of the way.
"We believe that every body is worthy of a perfect tan, and are working hard to create a judgement-free community that embraces all our customers' beautiful individualities. We also work with a carefully selected group of more than 350 bBold affiliates, who represent our brand across all social media platforms, not only showcasing the product, but promoting a healthy body image which as a result creates a positive ripple effect of self-love and acceptance across our platforms.”
The bBold tanning range now consists of over 20 products and counting, all developed using clean, vegan, cruelty-free and skin-loving ingredients. bBold also offers a range of tanning products suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. The dermatologically tested Super Serum in particular has fast become a cult product of late, even earning a finalist nomination at the ASOS Beauty Awards in London.
