BBC Breakfast fans were left a little confused as Carol Kirkwood 's weather segment took a baffling turn.
The presenter, 60, appeared on screens to give viewers the latest weather forecast but viewers became distracted by a confusing blunder.
Appearing alongside hosts Jon Kay and Nina Warhurst at 8am, Carol teased her upcoming segment.
The former Strictly star's background caught the attention of many - but not for the right reasons.
Carol was actually standing in front of a map of Spain whilst giving her details on the upcoming weather expected in the UK.
She said: "Good morning it's a cold and frosty start to the day for many of us today.
"But a fair bit of sunshine away from the north and west where we've got thicker cloud and some rain.
"That rain moving a little further southwards and eastwards tomorrow and then the next day but as we head into the Bank Holiday weekend for many it will be settled until when more of us will see some rain.
"I'll have all the details later in the programme."
Carol's teaser baffled viewers as she continued to discuss the UK weather in front of the wrong country.
Many took to social media to share their confusion.
"Carol discussing the UK weather with a graphic of Spain behind her ???," said one viewer.
Another added: "Carol, going to Spain for your holidays? Weather map boo-boo!"
"Does she know that's the not the United Kingdom behind her," questioned someone else.
One person simply said: "Oh dear."
Sally Nugent and Jon usually present the show Monday through to Wednesday while Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt take over until Saturday.
BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhust recently announced she is pregnant with her third child in an Instagram post detailing her "intense" symptons.
She said: "It’s been a funky few months… involving intense migraines, vomiting, morning kebabs, first time acne, small acts of violence against fruit, afternoon kebabs, tears, spontaneous snoozes, anxiety and more kebabs."
Weather presenter Carol recently revealed her fiance's identity as he was mostly hidden from the public, having only referred to him by his first name.
The BBC Breakfast star's fiancé is fitness fan Steve Randall, who at 47 is 13 years Carol's junior.
