What is the Guilt plot?
The final part of the trilogy sees the brothers, Max and Jake, back together but enemies old, and new, cause them to seek ever more desperate solutions to their problems. Digging deep into their past, Max and Jake hope to finally find a future free of danger... and each other.
Max is running a pub in Chicago with Jake but the business is floundering. However, after their money worries take an unexpected turn, the brothers find themselves deported back to Edinburgh.
On arrival in Edinburgh, Max and Jake find themselves delivered into the hands of Maggie Lynch’s heavies. However, that’s the least of their worries when a familiar and dangerous face from the past returns unexpectedly.
The three main themes of Guilt are guilt, revenge and redemption. Speaking about what audiences can expect, Mark Bonnar said: "I think it's the perfect meld of the two series actually. It's got a very serious heart but it still retains its humour, so it's the best blend of it all."

Where was Guilt filmed?
The show is set in Leith, a coastal town just outside of Edinburgh. However, the previous two series were primarily filmed in Glasgow which is reportedly 30 per cent cheaper to film in.
Instead, in the past they have filmed in Clydebank to replace Leith’s shipyards and the Parkhouse Business Parks in Glasgow’s northern suburbs. They also ventured out of the city, with Aberfoyle in the Trossachs being used for the Highlands. Series three is also shot on location across Scotland including Edinburgh, Glasgow and the highlands.
