BBC This Is My House: Glasgow residents set to try and fool celebrities in popular show

Glasgow is set to feature once again on BBC One's This Is MY House, as the celebrity panel try to figure out which 'Ellie' is the owner of a flat in the city.

On the celebrity panel are Judi Love, Richard Madeley, Harry Hill and Shaun Ryder who try to identify the truth in a sea of lies before picking who they think really owns the house.

Attempting to convince the panel are four Glasgow residents, one of whom really owns a two bedroom ex-council flat. The celebrity panel must sniff out clues to the identity of the real homeowner as they watch a series of videos from the studio.

In the Glasgow-based episode set to air on August 26, the Ellies must explain why there’s only butter and champagne in the fridge, and two of the Ellies enter a heated argument about where the best shops are in the neighbourhood. The real homeowner's brother crashes his car before the Ellies are invited to talk about their relationship with him.

And the three imposters dive into the real homeowner’s wardrobe to try to convince the panel that the eclectic clothes therein belong to them. The celebrity panel must pick who they think the real homeowner is.

The Ellie who says she can make anything sound sexy in Greek perhaps? Or the one who offers everyone yogurt?

At the end of the show the real homeowner is revealed and the celebs find out if they’ve managed to see through the lies or if they have been led a merry dance?

This Is MY House will feature Glasgow on the show on Friday, August 26 at 8:30pm on BBC One.
