A Swansea estate agent is entering the new BBC show Traitors with the hope to win £120,000. The show will be hosted by Strictly Come Dancing 's Claudia Winkleman and will take wit and a good judge of character to win.
In this nail-biting psychological competition, Claudia Winkleman greets 22 strangers as they arrive at a beautiful castle in the Scottish Highlands to play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000. Hidden amongst them are The Traitors whose job is to secretly murder a player every night, without getting caught.
It’s up to the others, the Faithfuls, to try to detect who the traitors are and banish them from the game before they become their next victim. For the lucky ones who survive to the end, they have the chance of winning that life-changing cash. But if a Traitor remains undetected, they’ll take all the money.

Amanda is an estate agent from Swansea, who is hoping to take away the prize. It is unknown yet if Amanda will be a Traitor or a Faithful in the show.
The 54-year-old explained why she entered the competition. She said: "I've always liked watching reality TV, but they're always geared towards the younger generation...That was something that appealed to me, as well as the logic behind the game, the secrecy. I think I can read people very well, so I really fancied having a go."
A mother to twins, who have recently turned 17, if Amanda wins the money she will be buying them a car each. Amanda wants to be an ambassador for older women, she said: "I think I'd be a good ambassador for 50-plus-year-old women to get out there and show that we can still be active and get into reality TV shows. I like to call myself a Glam-Ma, rather than a Grandma."
She also believes her skills as an estate agent will help her in the show: "I've met thousands of people through my career and I'm pretty good at reading between the lines of people...I'm going to think of it as a sales venture so I'm not going to get over friendly with anybody and think of this as a work challenge."
Amanda is "prepared to do anything" to "bring the trophy back to Wales". She said: "I’m prepared to do anything. I've got to bring the trophy back to Wales. Especially because it's filmed in a castle, I've got to."
