BBC's new Liverpool-based drama The Responder is set to start tonight.
The six part series has been written by ex-Merseyside police officer Tony Schumacher and stars Martin Freeman.
The Office and Hobbit actor plays Chris in the show, who is a crisis-stricken, morally compromised, unconventional urgent response officer tackling a series of night shifts on the beat in Liverpool.

Whilst trying to keep his head above water both personally and professionally, Chris is forced to take on a new rookie partner Rachel (Adelayo Adedayo).
Both soon discover that survival in this high pressure, relentless, night-time world will depend on them either helping or destroying each other.
The Responder secured funding and support from the Liverpool Film Office through the LCR Production Fund - and the crew was spotted filming in various locations around Merseyside during production.
A letter sent from producers Dancing Ledge Productions and the BBC revealed one of the first locations used in the production would be Lark Lane.
Filming crews descended on the vibrant area for two days of filming in February 2021.
However, this was against the backdrop of coronavirus restrictions and location managers asked members of the public to not attend the set due to the pandemic.
It read: "We are excited to be filming in Liverpool at this time, however due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, we would respectfully ask people not to come or gather at the location to watch the filming.
"Please stay home, stay safe and enjoy the production on its release."
The production crew was also spotted filming in Everton last April.
Martin Freeman donned his police uniform for the scenes as he walked towards his character's police car on Richmond Row.
Production on the BBC thriller had moved to St Helens the following month.
On social media, one resident shared their excitement" when "filming in progress" signs were placed across the road from Taylor Park.
The crew were also spotted shooting in Meols in May 2021.
Residents in the area were alerted to filming, with production company Dancing Ledge reassured people they would be adhering to all covid restrictions along Meols Parade and Bennetts Lane.
