BBC The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner gets a parking fine midway through BBC Radio Leeds interview

A former contestant on The Apprentice has revealed his shock after receiving a parking fine while he was live on air with BBC Radio Leeds.

Thomas Skinner was a contestant on the show in 2019 and has since become known for the videos of him eating various breakfasts, with all his clips ending him with what is now his signature catchphrase "bosh". He was appearing on BBC Radio Leeds to discuss the return of The Apprentice.

While being interviewed by host Rima Ahmed, he was answering questions about his usual routine, including the breakfast he usually eats at Dino's Café in East London. He said he wasn't there today as he had a meeting in another part of the city.

Halfway through speaking, he announced someone had just put a ticket on his car. Rima Ahmed responded with: "It's just chaos wherever you go, I kind of love it!"

Thankfully, someone was able to deal with it so Thomas could continue the interview. He went on to talk about the time he spent on The Apprentice.

He said: "It was the best thing I've ever done to be honest with you, but the boardroom, it was scary." Eventually, after the interview, Thomas took to social media to laugh about the embarrasing moment. He wrote: "Did anyone just hear me on BBC Radio Leeds? I got a bloody parking ticket half way threw the interview."

The Apprentice will be back on screens at 9pm tonight on BBC One.
