BBC Strictly's Ellie Taylor breaks down in tears on It Takes Two and dance partner Johannes Radebe makes frank therapist admission

The tears flowed as comedian Ellie Taylor looked back over her time on Strictly Come Dancing. The star was emotional and reached for the tissues as she was shown a montage of brilliant moments with pro dance partner Johannes Radebe on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two on Monday night (November 28).

As she was comforted by host Janette Manrara she said: "They're tears of joy. I can't believe I did 10 dances live on telly. To see that, it's really nice."

In Saturday night's live show the remaining couples took to the Strictly dance-floor in the hope of impressing judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas as well as the voting public. This weekend, Ellie became the ninth contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing as she faced singer Fleur East in the dreaded dance off ahead of the quarter final to be screened on Friday.

On Sunday night's results show the red light of doom landed on Ellie and Fleur. Both couples performed their routines again in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the BBC competition.

Ellie and Johannes performed their jive to Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. Then Fleur East and her dance partner Vito Coppola reprised their rumba to Too Lost in You by the Sugababes. All four judges opted to save Fleur and Vito.

"There are wonderful people left," said Ellie about the remaining contestants. And she is backing former Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton to win. "She's my bestie. It would be a wonderful end of the year for her," she told Janette.

Then Johannes had her in stitches as he spoke movingly about how much Ellie has meant to him. "Not once have I head to reach out to my therapist this season," he admitted frankly. "You know what I mean? and that's down to Ellie," he added. "I loved every single moment with you."
