Strictly Come Dancing's semi final saw professional dancer Vito Coppola pay an emotional tribute to partner Fleur East. The revelation came after the pair wowed the judges with their Charleston.
As host Claudia Winkleman asked Vito why he wanted Fleur to go all the way to the final, the pro dancer opened up about a "tough period" in his life that she did not know about. Replying to Claudia, he said: "Fleur for me is one of the best people I have ever met in my life. She is so humble, she's like a pure soul. She doesn't know but she saved me from my tough period that I had. You don't even know this, so thank you.
"She's so brave but humble, she never says no... she's so grateful and I'm so proud of you," he continued as Fleur watched on, holding back tears. The pair then embraced before receiving their results from the judges. You can get more TV news and other story updates straight to your inbox by subscribing to our newsletters here.
