Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman has shared some of the unusual ways she’s achieved her iconic fake tan. The TV host is known for sporting a tan all year round, but she’s admitted that in the past she resorted to more unconventional methods to achieve her glow.
Claudia, 50, revealed that she’s previously used tea bags and Bisto gravy granules to recreate a fake tan. The BBC presenter shared her beauty hacks while she was a guest on Radio Four’s Women’s Hour.
The show’s host, Emma Barnett, and Claudia were discussing what they did with their tea bags after making a brew. Claudia revealed that one of her ‘best friends’ would put the used bags in a ramekin so they could ‘reuse’ it later on.

She said: 'I'm going back to university here, when everything was reused, and I mean everything."Host Emma Barnett suggested listeners could be able to reuse a tea bag if 'you're not a strong brewer' or 'to make old maps'.
To which Claudia said: "Or fake tan because I've done that before." She added: "Of course I have, and Bisto, listen needs must, needs must."
Claudia also admitted she leaves her tea bag in the sink after making a brew which drives her husband 'mad'.
