BBC Strictly fans think they've figured out winner ahead of show

Strictly Come Dancing fans think they have worked out the winner ahead of the next show.

Last week, wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin's danced the tango with professional partner Jowita Przystal to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, which scored 33. Hamza, who was dressed as a king and collapsed to the ground at the end of the routine, said it was a difficult week "without smiling".

Judge Motsi Mabuse said: "Hamza, you're always a treat. The way you're able to move your spine and shift from one leg to the other makes you outstanding." Head judge Shirley Ballas said: "You are definitely a dream team. It was very complicated choreography. You are an absolute king and a scholar."

And Craig Revel Horwood added that it was a "strong and confident" performance. Hamza's incredible dance saw many fans take to Twitter to crown him an early winner.

Lizzy said: "I love watching Hamza he’s definitely my winner #teamhamza #Strictly." Milena tweeted: "Hamza is just brilliant! Definitely final for me, potential winner! Love watching him dance!"

Adele said: "Hamza is my winner." Badger said: "YES HAMZA!!! WINNER OF #Strictly 2022 RIGHT THERE!!!"

Toby tweeted: "Can’t believe we have to wait so many weeks to see Hamza officially be crowned the winner." Nikki said: "So we all agree Hamza is likely this year's winner?"

Charlotte said: "Just fantastic!! He’s my winner - I’m calling it already!! Hamza for the final!" Aoifs said: "Hamza is my #Strictly winner. He's phenomenal. Joy in every step and he spreads happiness to everyone watching. He genuinely wants to make people happy and is a hero."

And Suzi tweeted: "Hamza is already my early winner! I just love him and Jowita." The bookies now have Hamza as the favourite to lift the Strictly glitterball.

William Hill has Hamza's odds at 1/2, with former Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton following closely at 9/2 and Will Mellor at 9/1.
