He sang Drop The Boy with his band Bros when they shot to fame in the late eighties, but singer Matt Goss caused jaws to drop as he hit the dancefloor on Strictly Come Dancing. In the second live show of the 2022 series pop heart-throb Matt showed off his hip action to Night Fever by the Bee Gees.
Matt, who has just turned 54, and his pro dance partner Nadiya Bychkova brought Saturday Night Fever to the BBC dance show. Nadiya dazzled in a gold cut-out detail outfit with Matt, who channelled John Travolta's Tony Manero in white flared trousers and waistcoat.
Matt and Nadiya scored 22 points out of a possible 40 from the judges, placing them at the bottom of the week two leaderboard tying with footballing star Tony Adams and Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams. But judge Anton Du Beke was beaming as he praised: "I love, love, love, your groove."

The show's former pro dancer encouraged Matt to do some more hip-thrusting moves. Rising from his seat he demonstrated and said "let's thrust together."
Moving on to fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood, he said he was 'distracted' by Matt's tight-fitting flares. "I was slightly distracted through the whole thing darling by those tight white trousers unleashed on the nation," Craig told him.
