BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers 'heartbroken' as Hamza's comment to Jowita heard as they point out problem

Strictly Come Dancing fans said they were 'heartbroken' after overhearing Hamza Yassin's comment to his professional partner Jowita Przystal following their latest performance. The wildlife cameraman was back in the ballroom for week six of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (October 29).

The dancing couple performed an intense tango to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. Hamza, who was dressed as a king and collapsed to the ground at the end of the routine, said it was a difficult week "without smiling".

However, at the end of their routine, Hamza appeared to apologise to his dance partner. As they embraced, the 32-year-old whispered: "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry." But Jowita didn't seem to think he needed to as she said: "Well done,” while the audience cheered.

And it appeared to hit Strictly viewers right in the feels as @SCDJOWITA tweeted: "Heartbroken to hear hamza say 'im sorry' to jowita at the end. He’s so hard on himself every week but he shines on the dance floor so much."

Praising Hamza, Motsi Mabuse, who looked spectacular while dressed as a glamourous skeleton with half a face of jewels, told the Animal Park star: "I just want to speak about something really particular about the way you dance. The way you are able to move your spine and shift from one leg to the other is incredible."

Shirley Ballas, who looked worlds away from her usual self as she dressed up as Gomez Addams for the Strictly Halloween special, commented: "It was great choreography, you're definitely a dream team and I can see that you are working 100 percent together."

But the head judge went on to point out Hamza's mistake during the routine as she added: "It was very complicated choreography. You had some really fast feet and right in front here, there was just a little wobble here. You felt it right, Hamza? A little misstep here. You probably can't see it, but I can see it."

And after receiving a score of 33, many fans took to social media to share how they felt Hamza and Jowita hadn't received a fair score. @sian_davies_xx tweeted: "I’m sorry Hamza should be at the top of that leaderboard! #Strictly." @Darkstarrheart fumed: "#Strictly WTF!!!!!! #Hamza was so undermarked!!!" @NatalieCox101 added: "Hamza and Jowita were undermarked so I hope they get more votes #StrictlyComeDancing."

Others think they spotted the problem which may have led to their score. @KirstyAPalmer said: "I love Hamza but I couldn’t see much of that for all the fabric in the costumes. I imagine it was excellent though #Strictly." @h_geeky tweeted: "I adore Wicked Game and I thought it worked nicely here. My least favourite thing about Hamza's routine was his outfit, I feel like it obscured his legs and made things look a touch messy. #Strictly."

But as ever, not everyone agreed. @LaylaTango said: "I am in love with the outfits for Hamza and Jowita - spectacular and so different. I’m in awe of #Strictly costumes." @nlcorner posted: "The costume, the song, the twinkle toes!! Hamza stunning as always, loved it #strictly." @SianJasper added: "I love the outfits in Hamza’s dance #Strictly."
