BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers baffled by feature of Molly Rainford's 'saucy' dance

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were baffled by a particular feature of Molly Rainford's routine on tonight's show.

The singer competed on Saturday's grand final of the popular BBC contest. She was going up against Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton and Fleur East to win the Glitterball.

Molly is partnered with Carlos Gu and first performed the quickstep to Love on Top by Beyonce in the first routine of the show. They also won rave reviews for their second performance of the evening, which was a showdance to a medley of Prince songs.

The performance earned 37 points from the judges and was also praised by viewers following the show on Twitter. Susie said: "Saucy!! Great show dance."

However, the outfits left some viewers of the show on Twitter in hysterics as the dancers' long pink gloves reminded them of marigolds.

Katie said: "Are they off to wash the dishes now ?"

Debbie added: "Are they heading backstage to wash the dishes or something?"

Natalie commented: "That reminds me, I really should get on with the dishes #strictly But seriously, that was good fun from Molly and Carlos."
