Strictly's James and Ola Jordan have shown off their 6st weight loss in a matter of seconds in an online video. They shared a clip on Instagram showing them before their weight loss, then morphing into how they now look.
The effect means they appear to lose six-and-a-half stone in a few seconds. Explaining the post, Ola wrote: "Hey watch us lose 6 1/2 Stone in 6 seconds!"
She added: "It took a bit longer than that in reality - four months in total. Although the first two weeks were quite dramatic. We lost two stone between us in a fortnight. Pretty crazy eh?! But we had a lot to lose and you always lose more in the first couple of weeks."
Ola, 40, and James, 44, have a daughter, Ella, who is now two years old. They said they'd worked to lose the "mum and dad bods" using the Dance Shred fitness plan.
The plan combines fitness moves with their favourite dance steps. In the first two weeks Ola lost one stone 2lbs and James lost 11lbs, reports the M.E.N.
Before and after clips feature James in cream coloured shorts and Ola in the same pink bikini to showcase the transformation. Strictly pro Neil Jones congratulated: "Well done both of you. You look incredible it always impressed me how you both can make massive transformations."
Former contestant Catherine Tyldesley applauded: "Guys!!! Motivation right there!! You both look amazing xxxx" emcash81 praised: "Wow you both look amazing." And Diversity dancer Perri Kiely wrote: "SMASHED IT."
The duo have been documenting their weight loss and have been shedding the pounds in time for Christmas. Both dancers previously confessed they have struggled to keep weight off following the birth of their daughter.
Sharing a shot of themselves by a pool, Ola wrote back in July: "Hi guys. I wasn’t going to post this picture but I’ve decided to because I’m horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I’m hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it.
"Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’ ????
Ola continued: "We know we’re not in our best Strictly shape but hey that’s what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby," before teasing: "(I just want to know James’ excuse)."
Ola was a professional on Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2015, and James starred from 2006 to 2013. In 2019 James won the 11th series of Dancing on Ice, where he was partnered with professional skater Alexandra Schauman.
