BBC Strictly Come Dancing stars for early exit 'due to lack of chemistry', according to expert

Johannes Radebe and Ellie Taylor are facing an early exit from Strictly Come Dancing and all because of a lack of chemistry, according to a body language expert.

Darren Stanton has been examining the way contestants have been acting around their partners and says there's no string bond between the couple.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair, He claimed: "It’s clear Ellie works hard and wants to get as far as possible in the competition, however I don’t see a strong enough bond between her and Johannes which other contestants have already shown with their partners.", writes Birmingham Live.

“Sometimes it’s just down to basic chemistry," he then continued, adding: “I’m not saying there are any particular issues between the couple, but there’s a certain ingredient that needs to be present for a deep rapport, and this is ultimately lacking in their performance.

"Craig Revel Horwood especially scored them quite low, so hopefully they can resolve the connection issues they seem to be displaying and win him over," he added, then said: "I am predicting another potential early exit for Ellie.

“But again, it all comes down to the public vote on how they perceive her progress."

On Saturday, they performed the paso doble to Les Toreadors by Georges Bizet during the second Strictly live show.

Following a striking performance, which saw the Ted Lasso actress dressed as a flamenco dancer, Anton Du Beke said the performance lacked the "correct atmosphere".

While Shirley Ballas added: "I can appreciate the shape when you were in plain hold, but for me it lacked completely the essence of paso doble."

Taylor, 38, who said she found the dance "very challenging", was awarded a score of 23 for the performance.
