BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans spot 'concerning' problem with routines for semi-final as couples perform twice

Strictly Come Dancing fans think they have spotted a 'concerning' problem with the latest song and dance choices as the remaining couples take to the ballroom floor in a bid of making it to the final. Will Mellor, Helen Skelton, Fleur East, Hamza Yassin, and Molly Rainford and their professional partners will be taking part in the BBC One dance contest's semi-final on Sunday (December 11).

Fans won't be getting their usual Saturday night dancing fix as the penultimate episode of the 2022 series has been moved from its usual slot with the results being shown on Monday (December 12) because of World Cup. And Twitter went into meltdown again as hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman revealed at the end of the results show that the schedule was being switched again because of the football during last week's results show, which was held on a Saturday in a previous change.

But while fans have to wait an extra 24 hours for to watch the couples, they will get double the action as they each have to perform two dances for the first time this series in a bid to impress the judges and the voting public in order to get through to the final and within touching distance of the Glitterball trophy.

Hits Radio host Fleur and partner Vito Coppola will beform a Charleston to 'Tu Vuo' Fa L'Americano' by Fiorello and a Paso Doble to 'The time Is now' by Moloko while actor Will and Nancy Xu will also perform a Paso Doble to 'Uccen', a DWTS Remix by Taalbi Brothers, DWTS as well as their Couple's Choice to a medley of hits - 'Know How' / 'Fools Gold' / 'Step On' by Young MC / The Stone Roses / Happy Mondays.

Following their near-perfect Couple's Choice last weekend, Helen Skelton and partner Gorka Marquez will go back out onto the floor with an Argentine Tango to 'Here Comes the Rain Again' by Eurythmics and a Waltz to 'Only One Road' by Celine Dion while Hamza and Jowita Przystal will peform a Charleston to 'Pencil Full of Lead' by Paolo Nutini and a Waltz to 'What The World Needs Now' by Burt Bacharach.

And last, but by no means least following their third stint in the dreaded dance-off last weekend, singer and CBBC star Molly and Carlos Gu will dance a Paso Doble tp 'Survivor' by 2WEI featuring Edda Hayes and 'Easy On Me' by Adele.

The judges will have a big decision to make this weekend (BBC)

But as the big reveal was made on Strictly's social media platforms, fans were quick to comment as they spotted that there would be THREE different Paso Doble's on the night. @bethanyjoyxox simply commented: "3 Pasos??" @_nicole.ags said: "The amount of paso dobles is almost concerning."

@lovedbyyouuu shared: "Omg, 3 Paso’s when you you could’ve given Will the tango and Molly the SALSA, okayyyy." @ezra_tija added: "Really wish there wasn't so many of the same dances. I know they have 2 each... But come on there must be others they haven't done yet....they could at least all have at least 1 dance no one else is doing that night.... Only fair thing to do... Seems a little unfair atm tbh... Maybe you really need to think about starting to introduce new set dances too not just couples choice."

The remaining five couples will take to the dancefloor next week for the semi final when Strictly Come Dancing will air live on Sunday December 10 at 7.15pm, with the results show on Monday December 11 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
