BBC EastEnders and BBC Waterloo Road fans beware, the two shows have been pulled from air and cancelled next Tuesday, January 17. In a move that disrupts viewing for followers of the hit programmes, the channel has altered next week's schedule.
After programming disruption for some show's during the World Cup pre-Christmas, soap fans are facing more rescheduling shake-ups due to footballing fixtures. The BBC will show Liverpool versus Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round replay from Molineux. This means that both EastEnders at 7.30pm and Waterloo Road at 8pm will be shifted.
Fans are being altered to the move early so that they can diary their favourite show reschedules next week. According to Birmingham Live, EastEnders will now be airing at 7:30pm on Wednesday, January 18, followed by Waterloo Road at 8pm and Silent Witness at 9pm.

While the match looks set to have followers on the edge of their seats, the publication noted that there is plenty of action to come for non-sporting fans. In the EastEnders episode, Whitney goes for her first baby scan while Zack decides to step up and take responsibility. Alfie's plan to reopen The Vic is going well until Denise finds the pub full of customers. Meanwhile, Ben's upset that Jay hasn't asked him to be his best man, but Jay thinks it goes without saying.
In Waterloo Road, the award-winning BBC drama set in a comprehensive school, episode three will find the Walters family in an unexpected crisis, pushing a stressed Preston to the brink. Meanwhile, Val uncovers a truth about Kai, causing problems for him and Danny and leaving Val with a big decision to make.
