The BBC has been praised for its 'genius' scheduling.
It comes as the broadcaster provided live coverage throughout the day of Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral. From 6.50pm the BBC then aired Paddington 2.
The little animated bear reminded the nation of Her Majesty following a special sketch created for her Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June. In the clip, the Queen was seen 'sharing a pot of tea and enjoying a conversation' with the much-loved bear.

In the clip, the Queen watched on as Paddington got into a spot of bother with the teapot and created am adorable moment of chaos. At the end of the video, she cheekily smiled and pulled a marmalade sandwich out of her bag, which she declared was "for later."
After Paddington gave thanks to the Queen's long service, the pair tapped out the intro to Queen anthem We Will Rock You on their china cups. The nation fell in love with the wonderful sketch and many went on to leave Paddington tributes at Buckingham Palace and Balmoral - some even leaving marmalade sandwiches.
Fans on Twitter were impressed with the BBC's move today as they thanked the broadcasters for the 'special touch'. Mark said: "The #BBC scheduling team got it spot on. #Paddington #QueenElizabethII #StateFuneral".
