There was chaos and tears on The Traitors tonight - as one contestant dropped a huge bombshell on the others.
The contestants are in a Scottish castle, with three of them given the role of a Traitor. Whilst the public know the identity of the three traitors, the contestants are unaware who is a faithful and who has secretly been 'murdering' the others.
Normally, each night the Traitors meet and kill off one of the others, but at the end of the previous episode, they were told they would be putting three of the contestants on trial and then they would 'murder' one of them that evening.
As Claudia arrived to tell them the news about Alex, Ivan and John going on trial, anger and fury broke out amongst the group before Tom stood up and had a big confession to tell the rest of the contestants.
Stepping up to the table, he got everyone's attention as he confirmed that him and Alex are dating. "Guys guys, straight up,"
Tom began as everyone quietened down to hear what he had to say, "This is a lot. And obviously, we've got three people on the line. I'll be honest - love you all. Alex is not a traitor, straight up, she is my girlfriend."
The news left their fellow contestants stunned and there were floods of tears from all of them as they reacted to the news.
Matt looked on stunned as him and Alex had garnered quite a close bond since joining the show.
"We came to find traitors, but we came separate with individual stories," he continued as the other contestants looked on completely shocked.
"As one of the other contestants remarked to Matt that they thought he was going to get with Alex, he just looked on shocked by it all and later broke down in tears of what was revealed.
Tom continued to point out who he thought was a Traitor - and said Ivan was one of them. "I actually think you're a Traitor and an incredible Traitor," he said, before then accusing Hannah of being a Traitor.
Later, Matt and Alex sat down outside where they discussed the lying and the BMX athlete admitted he wasn't just upset because he felt he had a chance with Alex, before joking that he was looking forward to going beers with her and meeting her 'hot' friends.
