BBC's The Traitors has been renewed for a second series, according to an inside television source.
The show sees three members of the cast marked as traitors, tasked with "murdering" the others without ever being rumbled. If successful, they will steal the £120,000 cash prize for themselves but if the "faithful" manage to kick them out before then, the jackpot is theirs.
The first series, currently airing on BBC One, has been classed as "one of the best shows in years." The show has become such a runway hit, a new season is allegedly already in the works.

A source speaking to the Daily Star said: "The Traitors has become a big hit after just a few weeks. It was a no-brainer to commission another series.
“Everyone is hoping it will be even more popular by next year and become one of the biggest shows on TV.” Claudia Winkleman hosts the show where she's shown off a darker more "brutal side" of her personality from her chirpier Strictly Come Dancing counterpart.
The insider added: “Claudia absolutely loves the show and thinks it’s a brilliant format. It’s basically a done deal that she’ll be back.”
