A woman who appeared on Snog Marry Avoid has revealed how much of POD's advice she still follows 12 years on from appearing on the show.
Sophie Bow, 29, was just 18-years-old when she graced our TV screens in 2010 and put herself at the mercy of the BBC Three show's sassy robotic style guru POD (Personal Overhaul Device).
Snog Marry Avoid was a pop culture phenomenon throughout the late 00s, with Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost fronting the now-defunct show before Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ellie Taylor took over the reigns.
Even former X Factor contestant Chloe Kahn, Biance Gascoigne and Big Brother 10 winner Sophie Reade got a makeunder from POD at one point during the six series the BBC Three show ran for.
Sophie, now a popular social media content creator, encountered POD as a teenager who loved lots of fake tan, heavy makeup and eye-catching outfits covered in sequins and glitter.
Looking back on her journey since appearing on Snog Marry Avoid earlier this month, Sophie shared a series of clips from her episode to TikTok and stunned her followers with how unrecognisable she looks during her stint on the show.

Pointing to an image of her younger self sporting long blonde hair extensions and layers upon layers of fake-tan, Sophie said: "If you know, you know...
"This is me at 18 on the programme Snog Marry Avoid. I am now 30 in a couple of months."
"One thing about me you guys didn't know but I thought I would share. This is me when I was 18. Can't believe I'm showing you guys.

Moving on to another image taken from her time on the show, Sophie added: "What was I actually thinking? I have no words."
"I remember this episode. girl look at you now tho," one stunned follower quipped underneath Sophie's throwback post.
"You look younger now than you did back then," another remarked, as a third declared: "Avoid 12 years down the line, kiss and marry now."

"Still can't believe that's you on that episode xx yes love your look now," another compliment underneath Sophie's post reads.
Snog Marry Avoid saw 'fakery obsessed' or 'slap addicts' agree to let POD strip them of their layers of makeup and switch their usual 'skimpy' attire for more modest outfits in a bid to embrace their natural beauty.
The BBC Three show aired from 2008 until its sixth and final series in December 2013.
As she took a trip down memory lane on TikTok, Sophie expressed a desire for the show to return to our screens once again.
"12 year glow up only if pod could see me now bring the show back," the Snog Marry Avoid star declared as she shared another throwback snap from her stint on TV.
