Fans of MasterChef made a demand while watching tonight's episode.
It's finals week on the BBC cooking show, meaning that a winner will be determined by the end of the week. Tonight saw the last five chefs creating a dish inspired by a public figure, or a piece of art, film, song, TV series or book.
This year, the show so far has seen routine head judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode grace the TV show as a whopping 45 contestants have appeared on the show to compete for the crown of MasterChef 2022. Being on the cooking series helps the winner of the show gain exposure for their cooking and a potential career in the profession.

The finalists of MasterChef 2022 include Yorkshire based Eddie Scott, 23-year old law graduate Radha, former beauty salon owner Pookie, Inverness born Sarah, and marketing manager Ioan. But before the finals had even finished, fans were already demanding more from Eddie Scott.
Taking to Twitter, they shared their thoughts. One user said: "Eddie, seriously, you NEED to open an eatery of some type, or write a cookery book, or something on those lines! Everything you do is sheer quality! #MasterChef #MasterChefUK."
Others urged him to win. Kathryn said: "Watching #MasterChef and after seeing that duck dish, I want Eddie to win. #Boom." Meanwhile, Kelle said: "I think Eddie will win #MasterChef."
Eddie has been one of the hot favourites to win this year’s contest following a series of fusion dishes inspired by his family and his travels. It’s earned high praise from judges John and Gregg as well as a series of Michelin-starred chefs and former MasterChef contestants too.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s first episode of finals week, Eddie said he was looking forward to the challenge. He added: “I feel like all the hard work has paid off getting through to the finals and a huge amount of relief and disbelief that this is actually happening. It’s the most exciting time ever!”
MasterChef finals week began tonight at 8pm on BBC One. It continues nightly at 8pm.
