BBC Breakfast took an awkward yet funny turn on Monday, leaving some hosts concerned for their co-star.
Carol Kirkood got more than she bargained for as she accompanied some search dogs on the grounds at Wimbledon, ahead of another day of tennis.
The presenter ended up taking a tumble as she was pulled across the floor by the excitable dog, who was distracted by something happening off camera.
Carol must have predicted there was a risk of her being dragged away, as she was already crouched on the ground when the moment happened.
As she spoke to her co-stars, who were live in the studio, suddenly the dog sped off into the distance while Carol was holding its lead.
Out of nowhere, Carol looked shocked but didn't have time to stop herself falling as she was pulled away.
Carol fell from her crouched position onto the floor and lunged forward, as the dog took her with him out of shot.
Suddenly, her co-stars Sally Nugent and Jon Kay were heard shouting out to her asking if she was okay as she vanished from view.
Sally, sounding amused, shouted: "Oh no, Carol... are you okay?" as Jon echoed: "Oh no, oh Carol are you alright?"
The camera then panned back to Carol who was now on the floor and hysterically laughing over the situation, with it not the first time it had happened to the weather star.
Someone was heard saying: "It's happened again," as Carol sat with her head in her hands and remained on the floor.
The dog continued to walk around and looked at his surroundings, with his tail wagging before he ran off again.
Eventually the dog laid down, as Carol continued to laugh over the moment – while she insisted she was fine.
It happened just after the star had commented on how well behaved the dog was, jinxing things as she said he had "barely moved".
She said: "He's hardly moved except to have his tummy rubbed."
The pooch, called Ray, certainly decided to put her comment to the test and tugged on his lead, causing Carol to lose her balance.
Speaking on Monday, Carol told the hosts: "It's Chelsea Flower Show all over again!"
As for the previous incident, the hosts were referring to a similar moment in 2021 when Carol was sharing a weather update from the Chelsea Flower Show.
In the broadcast, Carol ended up falling when a guide dog named Flash tugged on her leash and took the host with her.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC1 and BBC iPlayer.
