Adele Roberts has issued an update on her cancer battle.
The 42-year-old DJ confirmed last October she had been diagnosed with bowel cancer and was receiving treatment. She appeared on today's edition of Lorraine to support the show's No Butts' campaign, which highlights the importance of getting symptoms of bowel cancer checked out as soon as possible
Adele told the Scottish presenter she is currently approaching the end of her chemotherapy. She added: "I’m so excited to finish, not long to go now. I started my final cycle on Tuesday.

"It is starting to stack up. My body’s feeling it now, but my spirit is still feeling really good and it’s thanks to campaigns like yours that I’m getting out of bed every day and just living my best life.
"I'm so excited to finish. I started my final cycle on Tuesday. My body is feeling it now, but my spirit is good." Adele said she was honoured to be a part of the ITV show's No Butts' campaign.
She added: "Thank you for such a wonderful campaign. It’s been an honour to be a part of this.” Adele spoke about her cancer battle on Good Morning Britain last year and said she was shocked when she received the initial diagnosis.
She explained: "I didn't realise that I could get cancer and I know that sounds silly because I now know it can happen to anyone at any age.
"But I was pretty much vegetarian, I ran all the time, I tried to keep fit and well and eat the right things and I just started to notice that my digestion started to get a bit funny."
Lorraine Kelly airs weekdays at at 9am on ITV and ITV Hub
