Rules of the Game star Maxine Peake is preparing for a big career move as the BBC series comes to an end.
Maxine, 47, plays Sam Thompson in the four-part thriller about workplace sexual politics and the #MeToo movement, which has left fans divided.
The actress has become a familiar face on TV over the last few weeks, having also played the starring role in ITV's Hillsborough disaster drama Anne.

However, as Rules of the Game ends tonight (Wednesday, January 19), fans might be wondering what's next for Maxine Peake.
The award-winning actress won't be away from screens for very long, as she has several projects lined up over the coming months, as Birmingham Live reports.
Appearing on The One Show via videolink earlier this month, Peake revealed she would soon be starring in – and writing – a musical based on British politician Baroness Betty Boothroyd.
Discussing her new venture, she joked: "I'm sure people who have heard me singing will be very shocked to hear I'm going to be in a musical.
“Yes, I’ve co-written it with a fantastic performer and writer called Serial Davies and it’s inspired by Betty’s - Baroness Betty Boothroyd’s - life," she continued.
“It’s about members of an amateur dramatics group in Dewsbury and they want to celebrate their sort of, you know, famous ex-residents, so that’s it.
“But no I can’t technically sing but I like a challenge."
Peake is also set to star in the short film Lapushka! as Scoot Piccolo later this year.
