BBC One: Katie Price praised by viewers after airing of 'sweet' Harvey documentary

Monday night saw the premiere of 'Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next' on BBC One, and viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the documentary.

The one hour stand-alone doc followed Price's son Harvey as he prepared to embark on a rite of passage familiar to many young adults: moving away from home and into college.

It also documented the struggles he and his mum faced during the journey, including the aftermath of Price's much-publicised car crash, which occurred during filming.

After the incident, it was recommended by a judge that she spend time in rehab — which is where she was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

She has now promised to continue attending weekly therapy sessions in order to not "self-destruct".

Viewers at home were left impressed by Price during the documentary, with many sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

One said: "Katie, I am watching your documentary, What Harvey Did Next, I have cerebral palsy and other health conditions, I to have been to The National Star Centre in Cheltenham, you are doing a fabulous job."

A second wrote: "Every time I see Harvey price I just get so angry and how Dwight Yorke just disowned him! Say what you want about Katie price but that woman is one AMAZING MUM!"

Another tweeted: "It's really interesting to come on Twitter and see that most people slating @KatiePrice are middle age men, potentially don't have a child with needs or ever lived a day alongside a child/young person like Harvey!"

"What a brilliant mum Katie is to Harvey. She adores him and he her," stated a fourth.

A fifth posted: "Harvey's dad is honestly appalling. Katie has raised him so well and has done a fantastic job I have so much admiration".

"Katie Price is an amazing mum," echoed a sixth.

"If there’s one thing about Katie price is that she’s going to dedicate her life to Harvey," an eighth agreed.

A ninth shared: "I love watching Katie & Harvey’s relationship. It’s honestly so sweet & you can see the love between them"

Another commented: "Absolutely love #WhatHarveyDidNext. This is the experience of families across the country caring for teens with complex needs, transitioning to adulthood. Rarely seen by a mainstream audience. There is incredible support available, from the likes of @sensecharity".

People on Twitter also praised Harvey, with one tweeting: "Despite his challenging condition, Harvey is a loving and caring person! It is obvious he is loved at home".

A second said: "Omg! I know he's a young gentleman now but Harvey is a very clever lad!! Wow!! Just gorgeous!! All the best Harvey".

"Bless him, so polite even when he’s stressing," shared a third.
